OUR Heavenly Father, we bow ourselves before Thee and humbly pray that Thou wilt help us to remember all this day our dependence upon Thee. Give unto us a vision of the upward pathway. Make us conscious of Thy holy presence.
Guard us from all enticements to do wrong. Enliven our consciences with Christian truth, that we be not deceived by error. Fill us with love, and give unto us a disposition like that of our Master. Help us in all our toil to serve Thee.
Bear Thou our burdens with us. By Thy grace teach us to seek first Thy Kingdom and righteousness. Work Thou in us the courage of faith, and the peace of trust. Through Thy Holy Spirit pervade our home with gracious kindness.
Abundantly bless our friends, our minister, and our Church. And "whether we eat or drink, or whatsoever we do, may we do it all to the glory of Thy Holy Name."
This we ask with the forgiveness of our sins, of which we repent, through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
